Happy Thanksgiving!


Some Thanksgiving thoughts...

First of all I want to say thanks to all of you. It is each one of you that make my work worth it and enjoyable.

Every year, starting on Thanksgiving and Ėprobably- up until new New Yearís Day I put my life in perspective and analyze the goals that I have achieved and those that I havenít, I start thinking about my next yearís resolutions and changes that I need to make in order to be able to become a better person.

I know this is the season that we dedicate to family and friends and that exercise and health are hard to fit in a hectic schedule, but I invite you to challenge yourself and to stay committed to exercise and eating healthy, giving yourself permission to indulge on that one special dinner. Eating right is not hard once youíve make it a life style and indulging in the flavors of Thanksgiving is even more rewarding when you know it happens only once this moth, with no guilt.

This year you started or continued a program that has kept you active and you have followed some of the advice Iíve passed on to you; youíve made the first step by committing to this workouts and the second one on continuing to do it; you are in much better health and you know you are getting stronger; if this was one of your last years resolutions then you really committed to it. Be proud of yourself because most people donít have the same feeling of accomplishment on this time of the year, and even though you might still have some room for improvements according to your own personal standards I can tell you all that I have seen big changes in every single one of you, I am VERY proud of you!

Youíve done well and you deserve to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner, please do not feel guilt for the joy of food on that day, enjoy, relax and be thankful for the most wonderful gifts there are: life, health, family and friends.
